Martin has been the Town Crier for Shrewsbury since 1984 and over that time has met many thousands of people, including Royalty. stars of stage, screen and radio and even the odd W.I, not that W.I`s are odd of course !!
He has visited hundreds of schools and has led thousands of people on one of his very entertaining tours of Shrewsbury.

3. The River & Bridges of Shrewsbury. The River Severn is the longest river in England, Rising from Central Wales and meandering down to the Bristol Channel. Martin will show you the 8 bridges that span the river in the town and also talk of the history of the Severn`s loop that defends the town.
4. A guided tour of historical inns in Shrewsbury. A tour for people over the age of 18 due to the fact that you may fancy a tipple in one of the inns that you pass!!

From the end of September to the beginning of March, Martin can be found leading groups of interested people on one of his Ghost Tours.
Shrewsbury is reputed to be the fifth most haunted town in the Country and even if you don't believe in things that go bump in the night, you will enjoy a trip around the town with Martin, But Beware!!!!!

For the past 32 years, Martin has been a regular speaker at various groups, including W.I`s Townswomen guilds, U3A groups, Rotary, Round Table and many other groups on various subjects ranging from his job as the crier, Haunted Shrewsbury, the old pubs in the town to how he survived Anne Robinson as a contender on The Weakest Link.
